The public is invited to attend a Diabetes Support Group meeting at St. Anthony’s Memorial Hospital. The welcome session begins at 5:30 p.m. followed by the educational session. Let St. Anthony's make a difference in your health, join us at our Health Fest, Tuesday, March 11 from 3:30 to 7 pm. This event will feature educational booths, juice bar, exercise demonstrations & free health screenings. Educational break-out sessions will be held every half hour starting at 4:30 pm.
Nursing staff from St. Anthony's Home Care department provide blood pressure screenings free of charge at various locations throughout the area.
The St. Anthony's Memorial Hospital Auxiliary will be sponsoring a Book Fair on Thursday, March 27 from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Friday, March 28 from 6 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the hospital Auditorium.
Cookbooks, award-winning children's stories, educational/reference books and New York Times best sellers are just a few examples of the books being sold. The books are available for purchase immediately by charge card, check or cash. There will be a chance for you to win a 6-foot tall street snow lamp, complete with Santa’s face and blowing snow.
Proceeds from this sale will help benefit the Friends of St. Anthony’s Memorial Hospital.
