HSHS St. Anthony's offers inpatient nutrition education to help patients improve their nutrition status, set goals and change their lifestyle

A Registered Dietitian will assess nutritional needs, individualize meal plans, assist in goal setting and provide follow-up care. Follow-up visits are encouraged in order to facilitate lifestyle changes and assist clients in meeting their goals.

Registered Dietitians accredited by the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics provide medical nutrition therapy at St. Anthony's Memorial Hospital and are available upon appointment to help clients improve their nutritional status. A physician's referral is necessary to obtain nutrition counseling services; however, Registered Dietitians at St. Anthony's are available to assist clients in contacting their physicians for counseling orders. 

Counseling appointments for Nutrition Education are scheduled from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Monday through Friday through our Diagnostic Scheduling at 217-347-1540 or 1-800-900-1540. Appointments subject to availability.
