Nearly 66 million caregivers in the United States provide care to someone who is ill, disabled or elderly, and make up almost 29 percent of the U.S. adult population. 

In honor of the 25th Anniversary of Perpetual Adoration, a special Mass was celebrated by the Most Reverend Bishop Thomas John Paprocki, with local clergy as concelebrants.

Even though the new school year has begun, it doesn’t mean that summer is over.

The Effingham Public Library is pleased to announce that it is partnering with the Koboldt Trust, HSHS St. Anthony’s Memorial Hospital, HSHS St. Anthony’s Foundation and Family Care Associates to improve childhood literacy by providing a first board book for all babies born at St. Anthony Memorial Hospital over the next year.

Hospital Sisters Health System today announced that Illinois Governor Bruce Rauner signed into law Senate Bill 3049.  It will go into effect on January 1, 2019.
