Intensive Care provides specialized monitoring and treatment to patients of all ages 24 hours a day. The Intensive Care unit can use a telemetry monitoring unit to measures the capacity of up to 14 patients located elsewhere in the building.

Services Provided:

The Intensive Care staff performs admission assessment and screening of patients, and develops a plan of care that addresses the patient's physiological, psychological, social/cultural, spiritual, and environmental needs.

Location of the Service:

Intensive Care is located on the 2nd floor of the hospital accessible by the 2nd set of elevators (labeled Patient Elevators) from the Hospital Lobby (Not elevators directly behind the Lobby.) The Intensive Care waiting room is directly off of the elevators.

Visiting hours are from 8 to 8:30 a.m., 12 noon to 12:30 p.m., 4 to 4:30 p.m., and 8 to 8:30 p.m. only.
