Service Description:
St. Anthony's Memorial Hospital uses CBSI for all of its blood products and services. This not-for-profit organization also serves hospitals in Champaign-Urbana, Danville and Mattoon. Since 1972, CBSI has worked for blood donors and patients in east central Illinois.
CBSI is licensed by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration and is accredited by the American Association of Blood Banks. It provides the same quality products and testing as any other blood service. Your donor support through organized blood drives in our communities play a major role in meeting the collection needs for our patients. An average of 200 donated units of blood and blood components per month are needed to meet the needs of patients at St. Anthony's. CBSI recognizes all units donated in other agencies incentive programs.
