Kal Keitel
Director of People Services
Kal has been a member of HSHS for over 30 years. He has been at St. Anthony's for over 23 years, prior to which he served at St. Nicholas Hospital in Sheboygan, Wisconsin, a sister HSHS hospital. Kal is responsible for all colleague relations, including benefits, training, recruitment, and recognition of employees. Kal is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin - Whitewater with a Bachelor's in Business Administration emphasizing in Personnel Management. Kal has been the president of the Central Illinois and Southern Illinois Healthcare Human Resources Associations and on the board of the Effingham County's Human Resources Association, and is an Ambassador to Effingham's Chamber of Commerce. He has served on the local and regional Workforce Development Boards and the Illinois Hospital Association's Workforce Strategies Task Force.
