 The ongoing Effingham County No Place for Drugs anti-drug effort continues and you can help.
Permission and support has been receied from the Illinois Department of Transportation to erect our message on highways and community entrances throughout Effingham County. The permanent metal signs with our logo message will serve as an effective reminder to all that Effingham County does not tolerate the sale, manufacture or use of illegal drugs. The 36-inch diameter engineer-grade, aluminum signs (larger than a STOP sign) will include our yellow and black logo on a reflective background. The IDOT has identified 32 locations for the signs. Your support is needed. You can obtain your own signs for additional placements.
