and Nutrition Services
Food
and Nutrition Services are provided to inpatients, outpatients,
employees and the general community. Services are provided
to all age groups and include nutritional screening, assessment,
support, counseling, intake analysis, medical nutrition therapy
monitoring and possible food-drug interactions identification.
Methods used to assess patients needs include hospital and department
surveys, chart reviews, and patient and physician contact.
Staffing
is based on patient volume and needs. Priorities are inpatients,
outpatients, community and employees.
