Since
1875, the healthcare needs of the sick and poor have been met by
the Sisters, Medical Staff, employees, and volunteers of St. Anthony's
Memorial Hospital. St. Anthony's is a not-for-profit health
care provider which serves over 75,000 patients annually. The hospital
serves the south-central portion of Illinois, primarily the 32,000
residents of Effingham County, whose economy is driven by the transportation,
service, and manufacturing industries as well as agriculture.
St. Anthony's service area consists of Effingham County and portions
of the five surrounding counties of Fayette, Clay, Jasper, Shelby,
and Cumberland.
Our Home Care service also serves the counties of Richland and Clark.
Over 70 physicians on staff at St. Anthony's, representing 25 medical specialties, are committed to meeting our patients' healthcare needs.
