Donna Roberts, Diagnostic Services Tech, Cardiovascular Services, was named this year’s Values Award recipient. Each year, the Values Award is given to the person who most represents the hospital’s four core values of Respect, Care, Competence and Joy. A committee of previous Values Award winners selected Donna from 24 nominees.

According to one of the nomination letters, “Day in and day out, Donna exhibits the four core values of Respect, Care, Competence, and Joy.” Another nomination said that Donna “is always respectful of everyone she interacts with in the department, the patients, their family members, and other hospital co-workers. She is considerate of each physician that frequents the department.” Another employee said that “Donna is one of those employees who will readily “fill your bucket” with her joyful attitude and positive comments each and every day.” “Her caring nature for her patients is well defined,” another person said. “Her patients come first when it comes to care. No matter how sick the patient, Donna is always there for them.”
Cheryl Pruemer, Personnel Services, and Tory Buhnerkempe, R.N., Home Care, were recognized as finalists for the Values Award. These employees exemplify the core values at St. Anthony’s by living them each and every day of their service.
