St. Anthony’s had the privilege of hosting a visit from Most Reverend George Lucas, D.D., Bishop of Springfield, Illinois. Leaders of the hospital’s administrative, Pastoral Care, and Mission Integration teams had the opportunity to share with the Bishop the progress and activities of St. Anthony’s in furthering Jesus’ healing ministry. Bishop Lucas also took the opportunity to tour some of the recently improved areas of the hospital, including the new Maternity Services floor, the sixth floor surgical inpatient unit, and the construction in progress for cardiac care, ambulatory surgery, pain management, and sleep lab.
